Fingal Centre, Portree
Big thank you to everyone who supported us with the Counter Collection tin, you donated a fantastic £79.36 sponsorship for the Young Carers 2014 Great Wilderness Challenge team.  With the top-up support received from GWC the money will help support the weekly Young Carer group activities.

Plockton High School
Sincere thanks to staff and pupils for raising a very generous £150.00 from your non-uniform day.  This money will be used to support the much needed and appreciated young carer respite breaks.  We hope you all enjoyed your non-uniform day - we know the young carers taking part certainly did!

Uig Gala
Thank you for your fantastic support of young carers again this year.  The very welcome £150.00 donated will support our busy and very enjoyable Christmas respite programme. Thank you again for your loyal and very much appreciated support of young carers in Skye and Lochalsh.

Rhoda Grant MSP
Thank you Rhoda for your latest donation of £50.00 received through ComRes.  This money will be used to support our up and coming Christmas respite programme which young carers benefit so much from.  Thanks again for your extremely loyal support.

Personal Donations
Thank you so much for the very generous £300.00 personal donation received to cover the cost of our first dinner in Edinburgh and the street fair activities .  We loved Pizza express, shopping at the outdoor market, trying the ice rink and of course the rides for those of us brave enough to go on!

Thank you also to another very generous benefactor who donated twelve £10 Starbucks vouchers for young carers to use during their annual residential respite break to Edinburgh.  The hot chocolate and muffins will certainly help to warm and re-energise everyone during the shopping and city crowd challenges!

Sleat Whist Group
A very big thank you to the Sleat Whist Group members for their much appreciated donation of £129.00.  This money will be used to support the purchase of party foods and activity materials for the young carers Christmas group sessions.

STV Appeal
Our sincere thanks to STV for their very welcome and very generous donation of £2,000.00.  This money will be used to support our weekly support group running costs.  We have 5  groups a week to help meet the needs of over 50 young carer members, 2 running in the Kyle (1 for primary school age and 1 for primary school age) and 3 in Portree (1 for high school age and 2 for primary school age (1 for local and 1 for out with Portree)).
